BADGER INDUSTRIES produces and provides seismic bracing hardware
and related Structural Engineering services that meet or exceed
all Federal, State, Local Building Code, IBC, ASCE, ACI, OSHPD,
SMACNA, ASHRE and NFPA requirements. NUSIG / BADGER INDUSTRIES
has been providing
seismic bracing
expertise, knowledge, engineering / technical support and hardware
to the vibration isolation, strut, hanger, cable, and nut/bolt
manufacturing and distribution industry throughout our existence.
BADGER INDUSTRIES seismic
bracing hardware is independently lab tested, sealed
and signed by an independent California Registered
Structural Engineer. Furthermore, our independent
lab testing is performed using lab technicians
that are California Registered Engineers. The independent
lab testing is overseen, reviewed and approved
(sealed and signed) by a separate non-affiliated
California Registered Structural Engineer. Unlike
others within the industry, BADGER INDUSTRIES does
NOT do in-house, company-controlled testing and BADGER
INDUSTRIES does NOT use in-house, company-controlled,
commission sales, employee engineers to seal and
sign testing, engineering, and/or submittal documents.
To date we have found no other seismic
bracing manufacturer, engineering or sales entity,
that tests and qualifies their seismic bracing
to the extent BADGER INDUSTRIES does.
While many seismic bracing companies simply test
individual parts for break strength, to which they
apply a safety factor, BADGER INDUSTRIES independently
lab tests its seismic hardware as seismic assemblies.
These assemblies include anchorage components,
seismic bracket hardware, brace member components,
etc. These test assemblies are cyclic tested to
determine the weak link of the assembly, the yield
of the assembly, the ductile failure of the assembly,
the ultimate failure of the assembly, etc.
BADGER INDUSTRIES produces
the industry's most extensive range of retrofit
(CABLE) & (RIGID) seismic bracing hardware.
It is common for us to
inventory hundreds of thousands of seismic bracing
hardware items. This massive product inventory,
tremendous manufacturing capacity, and extensive
seismic engineering experience, make BADGER
